NY Designs is in the back of Laguardia College Building C, a large white warehouse building with a huge red sign on top that says IDCNY.
Via 7 Train: Get off at 45th Road / Court Square.
Via E/G/V Train: Get off at Ely / 23rd Street
Walk towards the Citibank skyscraper building (the only skyscraper in the neighborhood - If you are taking E/G/V, there is a subway exit from Citibank). In front of Citibank, turn right onto the Courthouse plaza leading to Thomson Ave, and walk on the left side of "Arris Lofts" building (Citibank tower will be behind you) and go across the Thomson Avenue Bridge over the railroad tracks until you get to the corner of 30th street and Thomson Ave. You can enter through Laguardia Community College lobby (29-10 Thomson Ave) and take the elevator to 7th floor.
You can also make a right on 30th street and walk under the scaffolding towards 47th Ave. Towards the end of the block, you will find our door on the right side of the street. When you're at the NY Designs door (45-50 30th Street), please press 'Call' then '14' so we can buzz you in. Take the gigantic freight elevator to 7th floor.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND USING INTERNET MAPS:
From Manhattan - Take the 59th Street Bridge (Take the Upper Level - entrance from NE corner of 58th Street and 2nd Avenue) to Queens Blvd. Note - Upper level is only open M - F, after 10AM. Take the first left fork to "Queens Blvd/Jackson Avenue", then second left fork towards "Queens Blvd." It will take you to the middle of the Thomson Ave. Bridge. Turn left on Thomson Ave Bridge, and you will see the building on the right as soon as you get off the bridge. Turn right on 30th Street past the building, and the parking lot entrance will be to your left, in the middle of the block.
If you have to take the bridgelower level, when you get off the bridge, drive along Queens Blvd, and make a right on Jackson Ave. Then make a left on Thomson Ave. After you cross the bridge (driving away from Citibank building) You will see the building to your right. Turn right on 30th Street past the building, and the parking lot entrance will be to your left, in the middle of the block.
